Why I built this

20+ years estimating commercial roofs. The takeoff was always the worst part.

Outsourced takeoffs cost $150–250 and still come back needing corrections. Doing it yourself eats the hours you don't have during bid week. So I'm building the tool I always wanted — one that gives you a fast, accurate takeoff reviewed by an estimator with two decades in commercial roofing.

Right now it's hands-on: you get my eyes on every number. As more estimators use it, it gets faster and smarter. I don't bid your jobs — ever. I'm a 20+ year commercial roofing estimator building this for estimators like you, and I want your feedback to shape it.

Questions

Good questions, straight answers

Is this a bid or a price?

No. It's a quantity takeoff for planning — roof area, metal, penetrations, drains, curbs. It does not include pricing, labor, or a bid. You verify the quantities against the full documents before you bid.

What do you need from me?

Your commercial roof plan PDF and a few basics (project name, address, bid date if any). One roof scope per order — for a multi-building campus, submit one order per roof.

How fast is it really?

48 hours from when we receive usable plans. If the files aren't readable enough, we'll ask for better ones and the clock pauses. If we can't deliver in 48 hours, you get a full refund.

Will you bid my job or share my plans?

Never. We don't bid, pursue, share, or sell your projects. Your documents are used solely to produce your takeoff. It's the whole reason contractors trust us with their plans.

How do I earn free takeoffs?

Send back corrected or confirmed quantities, leave a review, record a short testimonial, or refer another contractor who orders. Each earns credits toward free takeoffs (see the table above).

What roof systems do you handle?

Commercial low-slope and steep-slope: TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen / BUR, standing-seam metal, and more. We identify the system from your plans and specs.
